2 Kings 20:1-7
Not with leaving the Lord, leaving church, stop serving. Going into depression. stay with God long enough for Him to do something for you. change you.
Some people can’t handle it, they go off grid, abuse themselves , that’s just what the devil wants anyway! Go to drinking, isolate your self from strong Christians, the devil will really talked to you then.
you really show your God given strength when you can stand in the midst of adversity.
The more of your heart you will commit to God, The more He can do for you.
Driving down the street thanking God for all He has done. The Holyghost interrupted and said the more of you, that you submit to The lord, The more blessing He can release into your life.
Scripture says if you have an alt against your brother, leave the gift at the alter, be reconciled then take your gift up again. Matt. 5:24
Suppose you have the gift of healing and your brother is sick, but you have an alt with Him. you might say see!! don’t mess with me. while refusing to pray.
1 Corinthians 2:9

Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. GOD, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places.

***(1) Isaiah’s announcement to Hezekiah.
In those days: This happened at the time of the Assyrian invasion of Judah, because Jerusalem had not been delivered from the Assyrian threat yet (2 Kings 20:6). The events of this chapter are also recorded in Isaiah 38.
Was sick and near death: We are not told how Hezekiah became sick. It may have been through something obvious to all, or it may have been through something known only to God. However Hezekiah became sick, it was certainly permitted by the LORD.
Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live: God was remarkably kind to Hezekiah, telling him that his death was near. Not all people are given the time to set your house in order.
***(2-3) Hezekiah’s prayer.

He turned his face toward the wall: No Distractions- Social Media. Don’t give up on God, He will see you all the way through.
A. Sometimes we just have so much junk in us, there is nothing like just, going on a personal retreat. and allowing Holy Spirit to empty you of everything that is not of God.
Judging, condeming, won’t pay back what you borrowed. won’t worship, even though God brought you out.
Remember now, O LORD
But under the Old Covenant, this was a valid principle on which to approach God. Passages like Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 show that under the Old Covenant, blessing or cursing was sent by God on the basis of obedience or disobedience. On that principle, David could write in Psalm 15: LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. (Psalm 15:1-2).
And Hezekiah wept bitterly:
Also, under the Old Covenant, Hezekiah would have regarded this as evidence that God was very displeased with him.
(4-7) Isaiah brings God’s answer to Hezekiah’s prayer.

I will add to your days fifteen years: In response to Hezekiah’s prayer, God granted Hezekiah fifteen years more.
I have heard your prayer: Hezekiah’s prayer was important. By all indications, if Hezekiah had not made his passionate prayer, his life would not have been extended. This is another demonstration of the principle that prayer matters.

Celebration:you were built to last, you are stronger than your storm.
You are from God, little children, and have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
